Local educator, author and journalist, Loren R. Webb is the author of “Southern Utah Memories” chronicling the history, events and people who influenced the development of southern Utah communities. Loren is a native of St. George and grew up working on his father’s dairy farm. He graduated from Dixie College in 1977 with an Associate Degree and received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and history in 1979 from Brigham Young University returning in 1981 receive his master’s degree in communications.
Loren provides a unique and special insight to southern Utah having grown up on a local dairy farm. His 21-years of news reporting about southern Utah people, places and events make “Southern Utah Memories” a special 472-page heritage book treasure.
